🏞️ Product Description:
The Sargent #5 Hybrid Oak is a heavy-duty acorn producer that delivers massive wildlife value in the form of dense crops of small, palatable acorns. This fast-growing hybrid oak is one of the top performers in terms of yield, and its later drop time makes it ideal for bridging the gap between early and late fall food availability.
Whether you're managing a hunting property or building out your oak diversity, Sargent #5 delivers consistency, volume, and cold-hardy performance.
🦌 Heavy Drops. Reliable Attraction.
Compared to Sargent #7, the acorns are slightly smaller but more abundant, and they tend to drop later, extending your property's wildlife draw deeper into the season. The small nut size is especially ideal for turkeys, whitetails, and small game, with low to moderate tannin content making them highly attractive.

Healthy Trees, On Time!
I placed my first order couple months ago. Everything came on time, order was right, and trees healthy. Everything has leafed out and growing great! Had such a good experience that I placed a second order. Can't wait for it to arrive!

Oak Orchard
I purchased 35 hybrid oak trees from Morse in 2005 and a majority of them are still alive and have been producing acorns for years. One is even big enough to hunt from. I planted them with tree tubes and watered them regularly for the first two years. It has been a pleasure watching them grow.

Great customer service!
I highly recommend Morse Nursery! My trees arrived 100% healthy. I was really impressed by the height of the trees. I expected little trees like I’ve gotten from other nursery’s. Will keep buying from you guys. Great customer service too.
