đ Hybrid Pear Tree
Zones: 4â9â|âHeight: 20â25 ftâ|âSpread: 12â20 ftâ|âGrowth Rate: Medium
Light: Full sunâ|âSoil: Well-drained, loamy to sandy
Fruit Drop Time: October to Early December
đď¸ Product Description:
The Hybrid Pear Tree is a strong addition to any wildlife habitat plan, offering a reliable food source during the fall and early winter. Producing sweet, soft fruit that deer canât resist, this pear begins dropping fruit in October and continues through Decemberâa time when food sources start becoming scarce.
Unlike many other fruiting trees, the Hybrid Pear drops a little fruit each day, encouraging consistent daily visits from whitetails and other wildlife. Itâs especially useful in areas where you're looking to add variety to your food sources without overwhelming the landscape with heavy shade.
đŚ Why Itâs a Solid Choice for Wildlife Plots:
-
Gradual drop timing keeps deer returning throughout the fall
-
Pairs well with apple and persimmon trees for season-long attraction
-
Adaptable and low maintenance once established
-
Good for edge planting, food plots, or orchard diversity
đł Dependable and Versatile:
This hybrid variety performs well in a variety of soils and adds another layer of seasonal food options to your habitat. While not the flashiest performer, itâs a dependable producer that holds its own when it countsâespecially in mixed plantings.
đž Summary:
The Hybrid Pear Tree isnât your showstopper, but itâs a steady and consistent contributor to wildlife movement during key parts of the season. If youâre looking to diversify your habitat and keep deer coming back well into late fall, this pear is a practical choice worth considering.

Healthy Trees, On Time!
I placed my first order couple months ago. Everything came on time, order was right, and trees healthy. Everything has leafed out and growing great! Had such a good experience that I placed a second order. Can't wait for it to arrive!

Oak Orchard
I purchased 35 hybrid oak trees from Morse in 2005 and a majority of them are still alive and have been producing acorns for years. One is even big enough to hunt from. I planted them with tree tubes and watered them regularly for the first two years. It has been a pleasure watching them grow.

Great customer service!
I highly recommend Morse Nursery! My trees arrived 100% healthy. I was really impressed by the height of the trees. I expected little trees like Iâve gotten from other nurseryâs. Will keep buying from you guys. Great customer service too.
