🍂 A Late-Dropping Classic for Wildlife & Homesteads
The Kieffer Pear is a dependable, self-pollinating variety that delivers large, juicy fruit with a crisp texture and mild sweetness. Known for its late-season drop, this tree holds fruit into late fall, offering both a bountiful harvest for you and an attractive food source for whitetails and other wildlife when they need it most.
Whether you're building a backyard orchard or a wildlife habitat, the Kieffer is a long-time favorite for its reliability, adaptability, and dual-purpose value.
🦌 Why Grow the Kieffer Pear:
-
Self-pollinating – no second tree needed
-
Heavy producer of large, crisp pears
-
Late fruit drop keeps deer returning well into November
-
Low maintenance and highly disease resistant
-
Great for canning, fresh eating, or cooking
🌾 Dual Purpose Planting:
Perfect for homesteaders looking for consistent harvests and landowners aiming to enhance their wildlife attraction during the peak of hunting season.
🍐 Summary:
The Kieffer Pear offers a blend of utility and habitat value—producing sweet, firm fruit that’s enjoyed by people and wildlife alike. With its late-season drop and tough, low-maintenance nature, it’s a solid choice for orchards, food plots, or wildlife-rich landscapes.

Healthy Trees, On Time!
I placed my first order couple months ago. Everything came on time, order was right, and trees healthy. Everything has leafed out and growing great! Had such a good experience that I placed a second order. Can't wait for it to arrive!

Oak Orchard
I purchased 35 hybrid oak trees from Morse in 2005 and a majority of them are still alive and have been producing acorns for years. One is even big enough to hunt from. I planted them with tree tubes and watered them regularly for the first two years. It has been a pleasure watching them grow.

Great customer service!
I highly recommend Morse Nursery! My trees arrived 100% healthy. I was really impressed by the height of the trees. I expected little trees like I’ve gotten from other nursery’s. Will keep buying from you guys. Great customer service too.
