Whitney Crab Apple is a large fruiting crab with fruit the size between an egg and a tennis ball. This is a heavy producing tree that drops from October – December. This crab is widely considered to be one of the best for Whitetail’s and I like that it drops it’s fruit over a very long time, produces annually and has heavy crops.
A Grafted Crabapple will provide a sweeter fruit that is genetically identical to the Morse Nursery parent trees maintained in Michigan.
