About Meader Persimmon:
Meader Persimmon is a cold hardy Persimmon that’s self Pollinating, and ripens early (October) essential in short growing seasons for cold northern zone success. I would highly recommend mixing your planting with Morse (Grafted Females) Persimmon or Non-Grafted Morse Persimmons when ordering. The two varieties if grafted selections are used when planted with Meader will all have fruit, as the Meader’s will act as the pollinators for the Morse persimmon. Planting both varieties is like planting different apple trees for better fruit sets and varied drop times.
